Scotland's Virtual Kiltwalk Weekend - April 2021
As a result of the ongoing Covid -19 pandemic, our WSDCS staff, trustees, members, family & friends were, like everyone else, unable to take part in the usual Kiltwalk. However, the fantastic news is that we participated in Scotland's Virtual Kiltwalk Weekend which took place from Friday, 23rd April to Sunday 25th April 2021 where we walked, ran, cycled, bounced and much, much more!
All funds raised were again topped up by 50% by Sir Tom Hunter and we reached the amazing sum of £9518.13 in funds for WSDCS.
As Sir Tom Hunter himself said; "The Kiltwalk kindness of Scots is truly unparalleled and at a time of most need!", Our fundraisers once again did us proud and we want to say a huge thank you to each and every amazing one of them, their generous supporters and of course the Hunter Foundation whose contribution makes an enormous difference. Thank you all & see you again for the next one!!
